Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with immense pride and great pleasure that we welcome you to the 21st Year of the Pune Trauma Operative Course (PTOC 2027) — a milestone that represents over two decades of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in orthopaedic trauma education.
The 21st Edition, aptly titled "Limited Edition"
For the first time, registrations will be limited to 1,000 delegates — not to make the course smaller, but to make the experience better. Better visibility, better interaction, better workshops, better faculty access and better learning for every participant.
PTOC 2027 has been thoughtfully curated to provide an immersive learning experience through a unique blend of live demonstrations, masterclasses, debates, panel discussions, surgical planning sessions, and practical skill development.
Some of the highlights include:

  • Live Surgical Demonstrations featuring renowned national and international faculty.

  • Live Saw Bone Demonstration Arena within the conference hall, allowing delegates to witness and interact with step-by-step fracture fixation techniques in real time.

  • Master Classes and Expert Keynote Lectures addressing contemporary challenges and advances in orthopaedic trauma.

  • CompliCon Sessions, analysing difficult complications, failures, and their solutions through honest expert discussions.

  • Interactive Fireside Chats and Intensive Capsular Learning Sessions, encouraging practical decision-making and exchange of experience.

  • Hands-on Workshops, Simulation Labs and Surgical School, providing structured opportunities to refine operative skills.

  • PTOC Oration, delivered by a distinguished leader in orthopaedic trauma.

  • InstrumentCon Arena, showcasing the latest innovations in implants, instrumentation and surgical technologies.

Continuing our tradition of innovation, PTOC 2027 also features dedicated sessions designed to enhance every stage of a trauma surgeon's journey:

  • Beginner's Guide Sessions for young surgeons.

  • Plaster Room and X-ray Room, focusing on the foundations of trauma care.

  • Suturing Workshops and Surgical Skills Stations.

  • Bhayanak Case Presentations, where the most challenging complications become the greatest learning opportunities.

  • Think Tank Discussions, bringing together experts to debate controversial topics and future directions in trauma surgery.

Above all, PTOC is about people. It is a platform where friendships are built, ideas are challenged, collaborations begin, and the next generation of orthopaedic leaders is inspired.
As we gather in Pune from March 19–21, 2027 at the JW Marriott, we invite you to be an active participant in this journey. Learn generously, question fearlessly, share openly, and return home with knowledge that improves the lives of your patients.
Thank you for being part of the PTOC family and contributing to the legacy that continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
We look forward to welcoming you to PTOC 2027 - The Legend Returns.
Warm Regards,

Organising Committee
